Home Field: Lafayette Park

The Cyclone BBC call the historic Lafayette Park in St. Louis home during the season. Lafayette Park is located in the South St. Louis Lafayette Square neighborhood at the corner of Park Ave. and Missouri Ave.

We feel it is important (and historically significant) to play home games in St. Louis, preferably at a public park where residents can enjoy watching and participating in these games. With its rich history, Victorian-era personality and a vibrant surrounding neighborhood, Lafayette Park is an ideal location for the team’s home games.

It is additionally significant that base ball was first played in St. Louis on this very spot and our namesake Cyclone Base Ball Club was the first organized team in the city.

We play in an unmarked field at the northwest corner of Lafayette Park (Missouri and Park Avenues). Look for our “Vintage Base Ball To-Day” sign. Please bring your own seating (e.g., lawn chair), because there is no “field seating” available.
